Herbal Teas for Energy
Here are some simple herbal teas made from herbs that give you energy. I tend to burn at both ends of the candle most days. These blends are lifesavers. They should all be made with fresh or dried organic herbs if possible.

So why not drink coffee or soda pop all day you ask? The answer is quite simple. Coffee contains lots of caffeine and so does pop. Pop also has tons of sugar in it. Diet pop has artificial sweeteners which are extremely bad for you. They should be outlawed (with any luck they will). Pop has phosphorous too, which throws our balance off with calcium. Meaning that if you get too much phosphorous in relation to calcium, the calcium gets pulled from your bones to maintain the balance. I don’t have to tell you that’s not good.
Stamina City Herbal Tea 1 part Dandelion root 1 part Sarsaparilla root 1 part Siberian Ginseng root 1/2 part cooked Rehmannia root 1/8 part Cinnamon chips 1/8 part Licorice root In a large pot bring 1 quart water to a boil. In a bowl mix together all ingredients. Add 1/2 cup of the mixture to the boiling water. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and steep 15 minutes, strain. Good morning tea Rose hips-2 parts Calendula flowers-1 part Elderberries-1 part Mix all these together in a tea ball and steep in hot water (not boiling) for 5 minutes. If you have to have it sweet add honey. Enjoy.
Stay Alert Basil-3 parts Peppermint leaves-2 parts Rosemary-1 part Mix and enjoy the same as above.
Pick-me-up Peppermint leaves-1 part Red clover blossoms-1 part Mix and enjoy the same as above. This is a great mid-afternoon pick me up. You can mix these blends in larger quantities and keep in a sealed glass jar. You can also bag it in individual tea bags. They come in bulk and you just fill and iron shut.
