About Me, My Life Story

I don't know about you, but I like to know something about the person that I'm taking advise from, so here's all about me. I'm going to fill you in on how I got to where I am now.
I've been down a lot of roads and lived in a lot of different places. I grew up on a farm/ranch and am the youngest of nine children. We had a huge yard and grew a big garden. I learned to can and freeze foods for the winter at a young age. We grew enough vegetables for the year. I ran farm equipment in my high school years. I learned mechanics when I bought my first car at 16. My dad told me if it broke I had to fix it. Well, I bought a Vega station wagon, which had it's share of problems, I learned to be a mechanic! My sister and I played guitar and sang for various occasions. I played the clarinet in band for 7 years. I was a cheerleader and played basketball for a few years. I always got good grades, but didn't study much. I had other priorites, like most teenagers. I didn't go to college until much later in life. I worked at grocery stores and fast food establishments. I managed a popular chicken restauraunt for two and a half years until I got pregnant. I was 22 and unmarried when my oldest was born. His dad was killed in a car accident when he was 6 weeks old. I met and fell in love with my ex-husband a few months later. We were married and had 3 children together. What I didn't realize when I married him was he was a bad drug addict. Throughout the years I learned to like drugs also. I drank way too much too. We moved all over the U.S. following work and avoiding bill collectors. After almost 13 years we divorced. I packed up the kids and moved to Alaska. We lived the true Alaskan life. No running water, no electricity, no phone, no TV. It was probably the best time in my life. I learned to appreciate the things most people call necessities. To us they were luxuries. But I did find some trouble there too. I got mixed up with the wrong people and ended up sending my children back to Montana for their protection. In the long run it was the best thing that could ever happen to all of us. I straightened out and my kids had a stable life. I gave up the drinking and drugs. There is always something good that comes out of the bad. Which also brought me home to Montana and my children. And I would have never met the love of my life had I not moved to Alaska. We've been together for 8 years. I was diagnosed with hepatitis C about 9 years ago. That was a shock to my system. But it triggered me to find a natural way to either beat it or live with it. So begins my career as a Natural Health Consultant. I had always taken my vitamins and eaten pretty much right. I never had the money to eat junk. And am happy to say that I don't like most convenience foods. I had been the one people came to for advice for natural remedies for lots of years. So I decieded to study it officially. I found Clayton College of Natural Health, enrolled, and studied like never before. The whole field of natural healing is facinating. Body, mind and spirit have everything to do with it. I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Natural Health, graduating with high honors, and am working on my Doctor of Natural Health degree. I needed to share with anyone interested just how to heal naturally. I happened to come across the Sitesell logo on a web site and had to check it out. It is a program that makes building a website painless. Following my instincts I dove in head first. I am relatively new to the computer world so this has been a challenge, but I love a good challenge. And it is proof how easy it would be for most people! This gives me a way to share, for free, the information on natural home remedies. I know a lot of people who would like to use herbs for healing but don't know how or where to get the information. So how can I afford to give all this information for free? That's the beauty of the Sitesell program. All I do is write the information and put affiliate programs on my site that sell the product. And without them, you would not get all the vital information on natural home remedies for free. Well, that's my story. I have learned things the hard way, which makes me the person I am today. And believe it or not I have achieved a position as an upstanding person in the community, and am not ashamed to admit my mistakes. After all if I hadn't made those mistakes I wouldn't understand how important it is to take good care of myself and listen to my body and intuition. I am living proof that we can learn from our mistakes and achieve anything we set our minds to. I would not give you any advice that I don't believe in. I'm proud to say that I have my values and morals and have learned to stick to them. I do hope that any of you out there that are having any problems in your life will look at them as an opportunity to learn and grow. That's what life is all about, trial and error. Without error we don't learn. And as soon as I get a digital camera and learn how to put pictures on this site I'll liven it up with some color. That's my next challenge.
